Sterk, zwaar en een fantastisch ontwerp. Beweegt niet bij het snijden van de ham, een unicum wat mij betreft. Bovendien hoef je de ham maar een keer in te zetten en dan is draaien supereenvoudig.

Ham is the wrong word for this...it's got nothing to do with what I think of when I hear the word. This "paleta" was given to me as a gift. J'ai grandi à Barcelone et le goût du jambon qu'on y mangeait était resté
en moi comme un délicieux souvenir. Aucun des jambons que l'on trouve en
France, même si certains sont très bons, n'arrivait à me replonger dans ces
tendres années tant leur goût était différent de ceux que mon père nous faisait
goûter les jours de fête. C'est un vieil ami qui m'a offert ce bellota cinco jotas
et j'en ai été littéralement transportée. Avant même de le goûter, son parfum
m'avait saisie et j'étais redevenue petite fille. Il est incroyable de réaliser
quelle peut être la précision des souvenirs olfactifs et gustatifs après tant
d'années. Mon ami m'a confié que c'était grâce à vous qu'il l'avait trouvé, je
vous en suis infiniment reconnaissante. Je ne me souviens pas marque achetait
mon père mais, comme il est précisé sur votre site que cette société existe
depuis 130 ans, je me prends à rêver...

J'ai reçu jeudi matin l'épaule commandée lundi soir et l'ai entamée immédiatement après avoir regardé le DVD. C'est vraiment un produit
très goûteux, il me rappelle les "tapas" que nous mangeons à Barcelone en guise de repas.
Que dire sur le "5 J" si ce n'est qu'il est difficile de passer à coté sans y toucher !
J'ai bien peur de devoir en commander un autre rapidement, à moins de cacher celui-ci et de l'oublier.

Je suis super content de votre paleta qui est arrivé très vite à la maison et très bien emballé : dès que j'ai ouvert ça sentait vraiment le bon jambon comme on n'en a pas tous les jours. C'est extra, comme disait le poète. On a presque l'impression d'entendre le cochon couiner quand on mange ce jambon ! Il y a vraiment quelque chose dans le goût qu'on ne trouve absolument pas dans les produits courants qu'on peut trouver dans les magasins classiques (de par chez nous en tous cas) et je suis sûr que ça tient à toutes les bonnes choses que ces petites bêtes ont pu manger dans leur beau pays plein de soleil. Je le dis à tout le monde : n'hésitez pas, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Mon mari adore le jambon et grâce à vous, je lui ai fait une surprise à laquelle il ne s'attendait vraiment pas. Il m'a bien sûr demandé où j'avais pu trouver un tel jambon (il connaît toutes les charcuteries de la région et sait donc que par ici on n'en trouve pas du comme ça) et ça m'a bien amusé de lui dire. Il est en effet un peu rétrograde (« internet, connais pas. ») mais je l'aime bien quand même et mon cadeau l'a lui a bien prouvé : délicieux. Il n'en revenait pas. C'est le premier jambon que j'achète et je dois avouer que j'ai été bien contente du couteau et surtout du DVD sans lequel j'aurais été un peu perdue. Il est très bien fait et grâce à lui je passe maintenant (avec un peu d'entraînement quand même) pour une vraie pro auprès de mes copines. Le jambon est super bon, je suis bien contente.

C'était pour faire un cadeau à mes beaux parents qui sont très friands de jambon et nous en servent toujours quand ils nous reçoivent. Celui que j'ai trouvé grâce à vous, le bellota réserve, les a comblé. Je crois qu'ils en avaient jamais dégusté d'aussi bon et j'étais bien content de les impressionner. Il faut dire qu'en plus du jambon lui-même, le support, le couteau et le DVD ont aussi fait leur effet. Il a fallu trouver un endroit pour le mettre et ils ont choisi une petite table qui ne sert plus qu'à ça. J'ai l'impression que ça a un peu changé nos relations. Je vous écris donc pour vous dire merci et pour donner l'idée à tous ceux qui ont envie de faire un cadeau somptueux à un prix très raisonnable.

Des amis espagnols me parlent depuis des années du fameux jambon Joselito et m'ont donné le site des amoureux du jambon qu'ils tenaient eux-mêmes, m'ont-ils dit, d'amis anglais (!). Je ne commande pas souvent sur internet, je ne suis pas habituée, mais je ne regrette pas d'avoir passé le pas. C'était très facile et deux ou trois jours après, on recevait le Grande Réserve avec tout ce qu'il faut. Nous ne sommes pas des spécialistes mais vraiment, ce jambon est exceptionnel et nous rappelle plein de bons souvenirs d'Espagne.

Je me suis récemment intéressée au jambon à l'occasion d'un article que j'ai eu à écrire. Cette petite enquête pour laquelle je me suis principalement attachée aux jambons d'appellation d'origine contrôlée m'a permis d'apprendre beaucoup sur l'élevage artisanal des porcs pure race. Tout cela n'a pas tardé à me mettre l'eau à la bouche. J'avais dans mes notes relevé quelques adresses de sites vendeurs et j'ai ainsi eu la chance de me retrouver sur le vôtre. Je me voyais proposés la plupart des prestigieux jambons à propos desquels j’avais lu les critiques les plus dithyrambiques et ce en trois clics à des prix auxquels j'étais loin de m'attendre vu ce que je savais de ceux généralement pratiqués. Mon choix s'est porté sur le Guijuelo qui, en un rien de temps, s'est retrouvé dans ma cuisine, sur son support avec le couteau à portée de main. Il est absolument succulent et je prend beaucoup de plaisir à le faire savoir.

Depuis que j'ai mon superbe jambon, mon appartement est devenu un lieu très prisé et c'est sans doute pas une coïncidence. J'ai l'impression que tout le monde vient pour manger mon jambon et je me plains pas. On n'arrête pas de me demander où je l'ai trouvé et, je suis désolé de vous le dire, mais je garde jalousement pour moi l'adresse de votre site. En plus avec le couteau gratuit qui est carrément génial, je fais des tranches super fines, comme un pro. Trop stylé comme disent les jeun's !

découvert j'en suis resté koa. Là, sous mes yeux ébahis, de l'authentique pata negra artisanal à un prix qui me semble défier toute concurrence ! Quand j'ai lu qu'il y en avait très peu, je ne me suis pas laissé abattre, j'ai commandé et trois jours après, je l'avais. C'est génial.

Je dois vous faire une confidence : je suis végétarienne... enfin, plutôt je l'étais, jusqu'à ce qu'un ami me découpe une très fine tranche de son jambon espagnol élevé en liberté. Si tous les produits à base d'animaux était produits dans de telles conditions et étaient aussi bons, il y auraient sans doutes moins de végétariens. Depuis cette entorse je continue à ne manger que des produits végétaux mais accepte toujours la petite tranche devenue rituelle que m'offre mon ami.

On s'était mis à trois pour organiser la fête. Nous vivons un peu à la mode espagnole depuis que notre fils, qui est allé s'établir en Espagne, vient régulièrement nous voir avec de bonnes choses à manger de son pays d'adoption. Lors de sa dernière visite, c'est nous qui lui avons fait une surprise : un magnifique jambon entier, recebo élevé en liberté ! Lui même a été conquis tellement il est bon. Il nous a appris l'origine du mot « tapas » qui signifie couvercle; en effet, il y a une centaine d'années, dans les tavernes andalouses, on couvrait les pichets de vins d'une tranche de pain ou de charcuterie pour que les insectes ne tombent pas dedans. Notre fils nous a également donné une recette de tapas que je ne peux m'empêcher de vous donner : des tranches de jambon frotté à l'ail et à la tomate recouvert d'une fine tranche de jambon. C'est tout simple et tout à fait délicieux.

C'est bien simple, depuis que j'ai mon merveilleux ibérico de bellota à la
maison, je ne vais plus chez mon charcutier. Je change même de trottoir quand
je passe devant chez lui parce que je suis un peu gêné. En fait maintenant,
avec le support super pratique et le couteau carrément génial qui sont fournis
gratuitement avec le jambon, c'est moi le charcutier ! Et je peux vous assurer
que mes tranches sont super extra fines et je trouve que ça rend le jambon
encore meilleur, ce qui n'est pas peu dire...

Un pur délice. C'est ma fille qui m'a offert ce jambon pour mon anniversaire, elle sait à quel point j'aime le jambon et ne s'est pas trompée. Nous habitons dans les Pyrénées et dans la région, on aime bien le jambon. Ici tout le monde mange du jambon de Bayonne mais à la maison on apprécie particulièrement les excellents jambons que l'on trouve en Espagne. Jusqu'à il n'y a pas très longtemps on prenait la voiture jusqu'à la frontière pour en trouver mais depuis que des amis nous on fait découvrir Les amoureux du jambon, plus besoin de ce déplacer ! C'est ainsi que nous avons pu nous faire livrer (gratuitement !) le sublime Artesanos de Jabugo. Ce jambon est vraiment le nec plus ultra, à mon avis, du jambon espagnol, et au prix auquel vous le vendez, on n'hésite pas. Beaucoup d'amis nous on demandé où nous l'avions trouvé, je leur ai donné votre adresse, je suis sûre qu'ils seront enchantés.

étions régalés de jambons locaux mais bêtement, nous n'avions pas pensé à en

Joselito jamon is like caviar or vintage champagne, it's expensive but it's worth it. The free jamon holder and knife were a nice touch. Next time I will buy a more pro holder, the free one is a tad wobbly for a big jamon but it is free after all.

der Schinken ist von sehr guter Qualität. Ich habe die Schnittfläche immer mit Schweineschmalz eingerieben und in einen trockenen,kühlen Raum in einem Leinensack aufgehängt.Der Kühlschrank ist nicht der richtige Ort. Er kostet ja auch viel Geld.Man kann ja den Schinken so über Monate so aufheben. Soweit mein Bericht!

Was ganze Schinken hier in Österreich betrifft, möchte ich Dir folgende Info geben : in den Geschäften / maßgeblichen Supermärkten gab es bis vor kurzem - wenn überhaupt - nur ital. Parmaschinken. Spanischen Schinken, hauptsächlich Serrano - gab es nur ausgelöst / geschnitten und der war dann nur sehr kurz haltbar - wurde dann gleich weich und unansehlich. Vor ca. 1 Jahr haben wir zum erstenmal in den grossen Supermarktketten ganze Serrano-Schinken, von Großproduzenten, gesehen und auch einen probiert - negativ. Unser Konsum ( meine Gattin ist espanola aus Badajoz und lebt seit 35 Jahren hier ) war bei unseren vielen Spanienaufenthalten an Ort und Stelle bei Verwandten, Bars etc. - mit ganzen Schinken hier sind wir erst am Anfang - abgesehen von dem einen oben erwähnten - negativen - aus dem Supermarkt, hatten wir zwei und die waren beide von Euch - Ibericsa vom Sommer des Vorjahrs und der Llanos del Noble von Jahresbeginn. In meiner Reihung kommt der Llanos del Noble an 1. Stelle. Was uns auch überrascht hat, ist die gute Haltbarkeit ( wo wir wohnen, ist durch die Nähe der Donau die Luftfeuchtigkeit oft extrem hoch ) - bei den ganzen Schinken kein Problem. ( wenn wir aus Spanien Stücke von ausgelöstem Schinken mitnahmen, waren die nur kurz haltbar, wurden weich, grau etc. ). Bis zum nächstenmal - herzliche Grüsse aus dem kalten Austria.

Beide (bellota und chorizo) waren ausgezeichnet, der belotta sehr schön gemasert, er war herrlich mild und zergig auf der Zunge.
Die von Euch angegebenen Mindestgewichte wurden deutlich überschritten so daß auch hier das Gefühl aufkam bestens bedient worden zu sein.
Die angegebene Lieferzeit nach Deutschland wurde eingehalten, wenn ich mich recht entsinne sogar um 1 Tag unterschritten.
Ich halte den Preis für durchaus angemessen und werde mir diesen Schinken bestimmt auch nochmals gönnen, allerdings nur zu besonderen Gelegenheiten.

Im grossen Jamon war der Geschmack des Fleisches viel konstanter als im kleinen, wo es mehr variierte. Pleased to say that the paleta was excellent. I lived in Madrid for nearly 10 years and became very discerning ("fussy") about jamón. I would never bother with serrano jamon any more, and not all the ibérico jamones satisfy me. This one certainly had an exquisite flavour and fully met my standards. It worked out better value for money and more convenient than bringing the vacuum-packed stuff back from my trips to Madrid and was arrived at my brother-in-law's in good time for Christmas...The only downside was that I wasn't able to stick around long enough at Christmas to eat my fill of it...
Hope to find an occasion to take delivery of my own one in the very near future.

Nobody much advertises this about full ham, but you get a broad spectrum of tastes in a single pack. The outer fat-side of the "mazza" part is soft & juicy matured meat, ideal for accompanying lighter fruitier dishes - on the other side of "mazza" as well as on "contramazza" the meat is dark, strong & dry - just perfect on as a standalone snack or on top of e.g. pan tamata. For the ones looking for deeper fattier tastes, the "punta" offers combination of deep dark meaty with soft and mellow fatty streaks.

Jag har återigen köpt axelskinka och andra spanska godsaker från Hamlovers hemsida.
Varorna har varit fantastisk bra. Servicen är strålande, har man några frågor så mailar man dem till Hamlovers och får svar inom kort. Det är bara att fråga på.
Transporten är också bra, när dem skickar varorna från Barcelona får man en kod på mail och kan följa godsakerna hela vägen. (nästan ända hem till dörren).

Παραλάβαμε το προιόν (μπροστινό πόδι) την προηγούμενη εβδομάδα και αρχίσαμε να το τρώμε. Μπορώ να πως πως είναι εξαιρετικό στην γεύση. Επίσης σαν εμφάνιση είναι ιδιαίτερο κομμάτι που τραβάει τα βλέματα!
Αρχίσαμε να τρώμε απο την contramaza, δηλαδή το έπανω μέρος με την οπλή να κοιτάζει προς τα κάτω. Το κομμένο μέρος το καλύπτουμε με κάποιες φέτες απο λίπος και το εξωτερικό σκληρό δέρμα που διατηρήσαμε. Απο πάνω βάζουμε μια πετσέτα της κουζίνας. Έτσι φαίνεται να μην ξεραίνεται.
Επίσης ζυγίζουμε το κρέας που κόβουμε πριν το φάμε και έτσι θα ξέρουμε ποιο ποσοστό επι του αρχικού είναι κρέας. Δείχνει να έχει αρκετό. Πάντως γνωρίζω πως περίπου το 40% του μπροστινού τρώγεται.
Ευχαριστούμε πολύ για το πολύ ποιοτικό προιόν και την άψογη εξυπηρέτηση, σίγουρα θα ξανααγοράσουμε απο εσάς!

Ich habe bislang noch nie etwas über das Internet bestellt, deshalb war ich ein klein wenig misstrauisch. Da ich jedoch aus gesundeitlichen Gründen nicht verreisen kann, musste ich mir den vielversprechend aussehenden Schinken nach Hause bestellen. I just had to put pen to paper to tell you that this is possibly the very best bellota jamon I have ever tasted. My wife and I first tasted real, top quality Spanish jamon over 20 years ago on a visit to Sevilla in a little bar in the old town and nothing I have tasted since then has been quite the same. But I must say I think this Jamon Iberico de Bellota is perhaps even better than I remember in Sevilla.

My jamon arrived one day after I ordered, exactly as promised. The tracking system worked perfectly and my husband's colleagues are now happily working their way through the ham! Once again thanks.

I must say the paleta we bought from hamlovers was far superior to other Spanish jamones we have tried here in Reading. The local shops here seem to think that any old serrano will do, perhaps that's true for some customers but it is wonderful at last to find a place where we can buy the real thing.
